Foxhunting apparel trunk show!

I’ve got some exciting news from the Fledgling Foxhunter for our local (and not so local) foxhunters! Our purchasing department

has graciously given in to my incessant pleading to add a selection of foxhunting apparel and tack.  On a recent visit with members of the Chagrin Valley Hunt, I brought along a small selection of my favorite additions for a literal trunk show during one of the pre-season Taste of Hunting events. These events are a great way to get you and your horse out and legged up prior to the start of informal season. Each event ends with an al fresco lunch and socializing, which allowed time for us to ogle this seasons new brands and styles in this sunny day.

Announcing two new brands

I am pleased to announce the addition of Equetech foxhunting apparel to the ever expanding brands offered by Big Dee’s Tack. Equetech is based in Buckinghamshire, England and has been a leader in high quality UK equestrian clothing since 1992.

We have also added foxhunting apparel by Shires Equestrian Products. We have offered a nice selection of horse and stable items from Shires for a few years now. This brand has always proven to be both innovative and functional. I am excited to see their apparel in store now. Shires apparel is nicely made at a reasonable price.

Olive Green Informal Hunting Ensemble

As proud owner of a couple of these coats in different colors I can attest to the fact that the tailoring is fantastic! Ladies Formal Hunting Ensemble

We’ve taken the traditional formal turnout and added a modern

twist with updated fabrics that offer easy care, enhanced comfort and range of motion both in and out of the saddle. The RJ Classics Machine Washable Hunt coat ($139.00) is sure to be a hit! This coat features a matte finish, gentle stretch and traditional tailoring for a overall good looks. Muddy day hunting – no problem – just toss it in the wash!
